The Vidya Samiksha Kendra (VSK) was successfully established at the SCERT Building, Alto Porvorim, Goa, as a centralized education monitoring and analytics hub under the Goa Samagra Shiksha initiative. The project was executed by Info Tech Corporation of Goa Ltd. (ITG) with the objective of strengthening data-driven governance and improving learning outcomes across schools in the state.
The completed facility functions as a control and command center supporting real-time educational data monitoring, periodic student assessments, and performance analytics across multiple subjects and grade levels. By centralizing educational data, the VSK has enhanced the ability of education authorities to track learning outcomes, identify gaps, and implement timely interventions aimed at improving student performance statewide.
The project involved end-to-end interior and infrastructure development of the designated floor within the SCERT premises. The executed scope of work included dismantling of existing structures, interior refurbishment, internal electrification, HVAC integration, painting, and installation of allied building services. The facility layout was carefully planned to ensure operational efficiency, staff comfort, and long-term usability.
All works were executed in compliance with applicable engineering standards, safety norms, and quality guidelines. Emphasis was placed on durability, functionality, and scalability, ensuring that the infrastructure can support future technological enhancements and evolving analytical requirements.
With the successful completion of the project, the Vidya Samiksha Kendra now serves as a key institutional asset for the State of Goa. The center supports evidence-based decision-making, improved transparency, and effective monitoring of educational programs, contributing to sustained improvements in governance and learning outcomes across schools under the Goa Samagra Shiksha framework.
