This project focused on the complete refurbishment and modernization of the Civil Registrar-cum-Sub Registrar Office located on the 2nd Floor of Essar Trade Centre, Morod, Mapusa, Bardez – Goa.
Executed by Info Tech Corporation of Goa Ltd., the initiative aimed to transform the existing office into a more efficient, citizen-friendly, and technology-enabled workspace in alignment with the Government of Goa’s vision for improved public service infrastructure.
The refurbished setup supports multiple key services of the Registration Department, particularly those enabled through digital platforms and the NGDRS system. The new layout and infrastructure provide better space management, smooth visitor movement, and dedicated zones for document processing and public assistance.
The scope of work encompassed a wide spectrum of activities including demolition of old structures, civil repairs, plumbing and sanitary upgrades, comprehensive interior and furniture design, advanced HVAC systems, electrical and lighting enhancements, installation of ICT equipment, and deployment of fire safety systems. High-quality materials and standards have been adopted to ensure durability, safety, and long-term operational efficiency.
Through this project, the office now features a modern Help Desk for guidance and support, dedicated areas for document scanning and stamping, and improved facilities to ensure faster and more reliable registration services. Designed as a future-ready workplace, the upgraded office strengthens the department’s capacity to deliver seamless, transparent, and citizen-centric services while fostering a more comfortable and productive environment for both the public and staff.
