Further, Department of Information Technology (DOIT), Government of Goa has identified ITG as State Designated Agency for executing AMC of IT infrastructures for all Government Departments & organizations vide Circular no. 7(368)/2011/DOIT/AMC Guidelines/1214 dated 21/08/2014. Being State Designated Agency for executing AMC of IT infrastructure for all Government Departments & organizations, ITG has been assisting the departments & organizations by providing support and service to the IT infrastructure present in the respective Departments & organizations.

Various Government Departments and organizations have been acquiring IT Infrastructure as a part of e-Governance initiatives undertaken by the State. Timely maintenance of these IT infrastructure is very much essential after expiry of the warranty period. Procedure for obtaining the services of AMC of ICT Equipment's
- Department / Organization has to download the Requisition form (Annexure I) and fill all the details like the type of ICT equipment, quantity of items, the preferred empaneled vendor for providing the AMC services of ICT equipment(s) and forward the same to office of ITG.
- Based on the Requisition form (Annexure-I) received in the office of ITG, ITG with it empaneled vendor will carry out/check all the equipment's before signing the AMC contract. Accordingly, a summary report will be generated which will mention about status (working & Non-working) of the ICT equipment's to be taken under AMC.
- ITG will thereafter communicate the final estimated proposal to the Department mentioning about the AMC cost & Repair Cost (if any) as per inspection carried out by ITG/empanelled vendor.
- Further upon receiving the final approval from the department to carry out the AMC, ITG will then place the purchase order on preferred empaneled vendor mentioned by the Department in Annexure I. ICT equipment's which are not working will be first repaired on approval of department and then taken under AMC. The cost of the repairs will be borne separately by the department. }
- Based on the circular & Guidelines for AMC of IT Infrastructure of DoIT, clause 3.620, ITG will raise the bill of AMC Services on the client Department.
- ITG will release the payments to the empaneled vendor only after receiving the same from the Department/Organization along with the following:
- AMC Service certificate (Half Yearly) as per Annexure II on Department/Organization letter head duly signed by authorized nodal officer. Bill settlement letter from the concerned
